Hotel Update 2

We have received word from some of our guests that they can no longer get a hotel reservation at the Auberge du Chateau. We have called the hotel and they are completely booked. As an alternative, you can make a reservation at the Le Madrigal hotel. This hotel is quite close the Auberge du Chateau and offers nightlly packages with breakfast and/or dinner included in the price. Unfortunately, we could not negotiate a special rate at this hotel. Hotel Update

We just received news from some of our guests that they are having difficulty reserving a room at the Auberge du Chateau. Apparently the rooms we blocked until July 1st have all been reserved and the remainder of the hotel is booked as well. We have called the hotel to see if they can open any additional rooms for people still needing to make a reservation. We will update our blog site when we hear back from the hotel.

In the meantime, please look into reserving a room at other hotels, inns, or bed and breakfasts in the area. On our main web page, click on the accommodations link and then the Easter Townships tourism link. This should bring you to a website that lists other accommodations in the area.

Accommodations / Logement

In addition to the hotel we have reserved, there are many bed & breakfasts in the area. Most people involved in tourism in Québec will speak english, so feel free to call around if you are interested in additional information about a specific place. And as always, you can contact us and we can try to help you out with any specific concerns.

Price of the Plane tickets

We know that the price for a plane ticket to Montreal (YUL) is quite high. They are currently around $550 from Denver. We are continually looking for the best price. If you find a good deal, please let us know so that we can share this
information with all of our guests.

02/13/2006 - Update

Some of our friends from Phoenix had a great idea, they are going to fly to North New York and rent a car from there and drive to Bromont. If you would like to join them, let us know and we will put you in contact.

Our wedding / Notre mariage

Well we are making progress, we setup our web site http://Alissa-eric.com/ with some informations for our guests. We will continue to add more information as we find out more details... We setup our weblog for the wedding (that's here). You can add your comments or questions here if you like.

Finding an hotel for our guests was more work then we expected. Since we are doing the wedding in a vineyard (Le vignoble de l'Orpailleur). Multiples hotels did not want to block any rooms for us :-(. Our wedding is at the same time of a big esquistrian competition and multiple hotels would not reserve any room for less then 4-5 days. Thank goodness the Auberge du Chateau had some beautiful rooms available... ;-)

On fait des progrès... nous avons mis sur pied notre site http://Alissa-eric.com/ avec des informations pour nos invités. Nous continuerons à ajouter des détails au fur et à mesure qu'il y en aura. Nous avons également créé notre "webBlog" pour le mariage (c'est dans cette page). Vous pouvez aussi ajouter vos commentaires ou questions si vous le désirez.

Trouver un hôtel a été plus de travail que prévu. Comme nous faisons le mariage dans un vignoble (Le vignoble de l'Orpailleur), plusieurs hôtels ont simplement refusé de nous retenir des chambres. De plus, notre mariage a lieu en même temps qu'une importante compétition équestre et plusieurs hôtels gardent leurs chambres pour des réservations de 4 ou 5 jours minimum. Heureusement que l'Auberge du Château avait plusieurs jolies chambres disponibles.
